10 things Google is doing with its new Chrome OS
- Following its motto "Dont be evil" by creating a OS thats not competing with or a replacement to the existing Operating Systems
- Giving a helping hand to the HW manufacturers by identifying the need for a 2nd device
- Targetting a very narrow TG which is always connected to net and needs a 2nd device
- Going against the current definition of net book, by saying its Cloud Books will have a big screen and keyboard
- Creating a disruption in the definition of an OS
- OS will be free , but one need to buy additional hardware thats locked to Chrome OS
- Will definitely create new ecosystem of Web App store
- Going against the device convergence
- Cloud books will use Solid State Drives, not hard drives
- Getting people like me write random stories like this
